Fieldwork, Internships and Mentorship

Overview

We give social work students and early-career professionals a place to apply their training in real settings. Our placements follow Standard 7 of Uganda's Minimum Standards and Competence Framework for Social Work Education, as well as global social work standards, and cover the core competence areas of professionalism, values and ethics, diversity and equality, human rights and economic wellbeing, knowledge development, critical reflection, life skills and professional leadership.
